Three Little Mormon Pigs

This week in Cole's class they were asked to memorize a poem about pigs. Although pigs are not my favorite subject I agreed to help him memorize the poem. It was very important to Cole because the three students who did the best presentations would receive a donut ticket. (Once a month the teacher brings in donuts and if you have a ticket you can have a donut.) So all week we practised the poem. We even made a paper bag pig puppet. The kids could use props or actions to make the presentation more fun, so we did. When Cole came home that afternoon he informed us that he got one of the donut tickets! We were very proud of course. Then he told us who received the other two tickets. It was Hannah and Tanner , our bishop's twins! Imagine that! The twins mom Jill is dealing with a newborn with colic, and I am still dealing with a difficult pregnancy. Just last Sunday we were discussing how neglected our older children are right now. I guess maybe they are not so neglected after all. Congratulations to Cole, Hannah, and Tanner! I hope those donuts are good!
