The drama of naming a baby! Why I every had the idea of letting my family help choose the name is beyond me! We picked our top three names from all the ideas given to us on the blog. We really liked Cooper Douglas, Corbin Douglas, and Collin Earl. So then we voted. We have 7 people living in our home right now. Everyone was eligible to vote. The results:
Cooper Douglas - 3
Corbin Douglas - 0
Collin Earl - 0
4 people did not vote! So I asked why they did not vote. Do you know what they said?! They wanted to name the baby Carson! That was the original name that I had picked out that they all complained about because it didn't follow the "Co" pattern. Ahhhhhh! Frustration!
So it seems that Carson has won the vote with out even being on the ballot! The middle name will be Douglas after my grandfather, and my brother who has been a lifesaver during all my sickness.
However I did say that I would make the winner of the name idea cookies, so since Cooper Douglas did get 3 votes I will be delivering cookies to Scrapally very soon. Thanks for all the ideas - and the patience!

that's funny! I can't believe I won! Carson is a great name...i have the most darling nephew named carson!! We can't wait for your new arrival...it will be loads of fun at your house!!
