Trick or Treat

This year Halloween was a little different than usual. We did not carve pumpkins or make Halloween treats (mostly because I just didn't feel up to it). However the kids all dressed up and went trick or treating ... twice! We had a "trunk or treat" on Friday night where the kids went from car to car collecting candy. Then on Saturday they went trick or treating to neighbors and friends. Connor wore a dragon costume with extra padding in the rear. He loved it and kept patting the back saying "I'm fat, I'm fat!" Lauren was a fairy. On the first night of trick or treating I let her wear some make up and curled her hair. She was on cloud nine! She wants to wear make up sooooo bad, but I am just not ready for that yet. Cole was a cowboy. He did not want to wear any of Cobi's old costumes so he used his birthday money to buy himself a costume. Cobi wore his football uniform for his costume. He had a chance to go watch a high school football game for free on Friday night. He chose to skip the game and go trick or treating, the candy was just too good to pass up.
