Lauren had her birthday this month. She wanted a Hula Girl party, and since we are miles away from the beach, we had to get a little creative. We started off by making sure all the girls looked like Hula Girls. Everyone got a grass skirt, a flower for her hair, and made a flower necklace.

Here are Abby (above) and Madilynn (below) dressed up in their beach attire.

Here is Aubriawna also looking stylish in her hula skirt.

We played limbo and hot "coconut" (like hot potato). Then we went outside and played all kinds of water games. I think the girls enjoyed water balloons the most. We let them throw as many water balloons as they could at Lauren's brothers. They loved it! Especially because the boys were not allowed to get them back.

We then went to the front yard, where we have a nice big tree and hit a pinata. That's totally Hawaiian right? Rebeckah (above) and Madison (below) wouldn't let us take pictures of them in their hula skirts so I took advantage of the blindfold situation and snapped a few photos.

Finally we ended the party with a little bit of sand and water. Don't worry, it is all edible. This way everyone could say that there was a beach at the party!

Here is one last look at all those Hula Girls. Aloha!
