September in a Nutshell

Well since it is almost the end of October, I figured I better blog about September! As always our life is crazy. September was no different. Cole had his eighth birthday. We had a small sleep over. He invited his two best friends from school. We made homemade pizza (they even made the dough) and they had ice cream sundaes with extra toppings. The next morning we went to the zoo. Here are the monkeys we saw.

I think my monkey needs a bit more fur! Cole loves to go to the zoo. He wants to be an animal scientist some day. For Christmas last year he got a subscription for an animal magazine and a year membership to the zoo. He loved it. We have been to the zoo almost every month since. He just can't get enough!

This month we also started preschool. For the first time I decided to do a home co-op. Usually I prefer outside the home just so my children become a bit more independent and learn to listen to someone else. However this year due to budget restriction we brought it in home. Three other moms and I, who all have boys between the ages of 3 and 5, trade off every few weeks. I had the week 3 and 4. We talked about making new friends and how to treat our new friends. It was really...well I'm not sure how to describe it, fun but busy. There are six boys all together and that makes for a lot of energy, but they are all so adorable. We painted little frames that said "friends," and inserted this picture

See, just adorable!

Also in September we went to Disneyland! More on that in my next post!
