Today was the first Sunday in a long time that I was able to go to Sunday School and Relief Society. We have three hours of church. Usually the last two I spend playing piano or helping my kids. However, today I was able to go to all three hours of adult classes. I really enjoyed all the lessons. I liked hearing my husband's lesson on supporting spouses. I teased him a little about not going out on Friday night dates, but with four kids and his busy job I know it is hard. He always tries his best. Sometimes we just have dates at home when we play board games or watch a movie. It is fun just being together. I love our church. We are constantly being taught how to help one another and support each other whether we are friends, relatives or neighbors. I had forgotten how much better I feel after attending all those meetings on Sunday. I thought that just being at church was enough, but after today I realized how much I had been missing and how much I need the gospel in my life. Don't get me wrong, I love playing piano in the Primary, but the lessons there are just not quite made to strengthen me as much as they are for the kids. I appreciate all the teachers and leaders who work so hard to make church such a wonderful experience. Thanks for making my Sunday a real Sabbath Day.

I am so happy you can go to class and hear Dave's lesson, I am sure he is doing a great job !! We do miss you in Primary but we also love having Caleen !!! This must mean that Conner stays in the Nursery now with no problems !!! If you ever need a babysitter for date night I am available, if you think the kids would stay with me?? I'm also free !!!
Amen to that! I love what I am doing and I have been very happy with the Primary and Young Women for the last 4 years, but at the same time I am really looking forward to being back with my sisters in Relief Society (when it's my time!). It really does make such a big difference. I think being out of those "adult" classes drains you spiritually somehow and it makes you appreciate them that much more when you get to go back to them.
your husband give a great lesson..it was fun to hear your comments...it was cute! I know what you mean about date nights...often times our date night is a trip to costco to get groceries! But we go together and have our time so it's nice...and the movie and games at home are fun too, if you aren't too tired after the kids are all in bed! :)
We love having you in Releif Society, and you did a wonderful job at choir practice!!!
